So – I am hurtin’.

I injured my knee the end of May while working. Now – my back is hurting me! I can’t seem to win. I haven’t been to the gym in a long time! I so want to go back. My Rut is getting better though I actually have a plan now and hope to lose around 7.5 lbs by July 11th. At least that is what my new iPhone program tells me. Let’s see if it happens. In about a week I take a flight to New York for a full on Girls weekend. Hubby gets to hang back at home and take care of the Kitteh’s. :-)

I hope that I will be up and running by that time. A sprained knee and a hurt back is sure a bummer.

I am feeling a little tired on this wonderful day. When I am an idiot and stay up way too late the previous nights. Yes a plural nights! I start feeling it in the days following. I hurt my knee like a dumbass on Saturday night. It is just getting better so I think by Thursday or Friday I can get back to the gym and get my workout on. Until then I want to sit on the top of the chair like those guys and take a nap. Ignore the wonderful large heaping pile of recycling in the background. I was cleaning this day. :-)

First there were the lovely Tulips! I did at one time have these in my garden when we first moved into the house. I think I will plant more this fall – they are beautiful especially when in a group!

I think this is another version of the Tulips. Since it is spring this is really the only thing in bloom right now – still the trip was worth it.

I wish I could plant a ton of trees on our property. These are Crab Apples, they look lovely now – but tend to lose all their flowers by summer. We had one of these in the yard and we pulled it out for that reason. If it flowered like this all the time I would replant one in a heartbeat. Every year I get jealous of my neighbors because most of them have a form of this tree. But by the end of June my jealousy is gone right with the Crab Apple flowers!

It’s has been 13 years since we said our vows and 16 years since we met. I cannot believe how fast time flies when you have your best friend by your side. I have much to thank you for – putting up with me and my Thyroid disease, building this beautiful website, helping me upkeep our wonderful house and teaching me a lot of things! I love you so much I cannot put it into words! I couldn’t of asked for a better partner, friend and soul mate.

Happy 13 year Anniversary Honey! Many lubs to you! ;-)

We have always wanted to grow our own veggies. Not sure if we can do it but we made the first step and planted a garden – Here is the are some photos of our lovely garden.

We  fixed a loose board on the stairwell, got the water set up for the summer (turned on and hoses in place). We also get all the lawn furniture out of the shed.  The Garden took up a bulk of the day so the rest of the things needed to get done on Thursday.Then we headed off for a drink and some live trivia! Much needed fun after a day of building!

Thursday:  I suggest you take a big breath – this is going to take awhile. ;-)

We washed all the windows inside and outside then added the screens to them for the summer. Then I opened up all the windows so that we can finally get some fresh air in the house.

We moved onto the garage next. We completely cleaned out the garage – dump pile and all.

We then headed to the shed. We cleaned out the shed completely reorganized and move some extra things from the garage to the shed.

Then we went and got an Aerator and we aerated the lawn. This pops out little bits of grass that free up some much needed space for our grass to grow.

I returned the aerator then ran to the Gertens Dump to get rid of the sod we picked up doing the garden bed, ran to the library, got my nails done and then shopped for our quests tomorrow.

Now Hubby and I are going to walk to the mailstop to get our mail and come home and crash on the couch.

Whew I am tired just writing all this!

BTW- dinner tomorrow night is going to be Chicken Pot Pie (completely allergy free) and chocolate covered strawberries for desert!

OH – I have a blood draw on Saturday!

I have had a very productive day. I cleaned the house, grocery shopped and did all the laundry. I am about to sit down and enjoy myself a girlie movie for all my hard work! I am going to watch The Time Travelers Wife. I hope it’s good.

HI!

I have been working hard core on getting something ready for Hypogirl.com. Things I am so excited for I am like a computer geek in the Apple store. BUT I have had too many interruptions. One big interruption is my truck – it haz sad. It has broken down 3 times over the course of the past few days and is currently sitting at my parents house sulking. I hope to have that up and running by tomorrow. But I have been a good thyroid patient this week and actually have kept my focus on my other projects. Mainly this new thing! I am excited that it should be out in the next few days. Keep watching for it!

Now – back to the regularly scheduled programing.
