Food Log: and there was cake…

So here we are day 3 of the food logging and I was doing good until there was cake. It was a friends b-day today and last night I made a chocolate cake to help him celebrate. I figured it would be a good after lunch treat. Oh BOY was it good. :-) I tried to be good the rest of the day and not eat any snacks. But I didn’t feel the need to snack in the afternoon – I wonder if the oil and fat in the cake had anything to do with that? But oh well here are my stats for today:
AM Workout: NONE
Breakfast: Hashbrowns & bacon Calories 287 – I am a sucker for Hashbrowns. YUM!
Lunch: Turkey wrap with lettuce, tomato, cheese, olives and soda Oh – and CAKE! Calories 731
PM workout: C25K wk 2, day 2 & weight lifting, Elliptical 20 minutes Calories Burnt: 536
Dinner – chicken breast 4 oz, French Fries 14 count, soda 360
Food Calories: 1,378
Exercise Calories: 536
Net Calories: 842
I am under my calories for this day by: 281
I am under my calories for the week by 905.
I might have enough to enjoy the weekend with. What do you think? I am still going to continue my routine and finish out the week. I would hate to get relaxed and end up using all my calories in one day.
Tomorrow I might post something remotely fun. Instead of concentrating on food.
