I AM SO PROUD OF YOU for sharing your story as eloquently and bravely as you did. You are amazing and inspiring. I/we adore you madly, child. Great work!
Thank you for sharing this honest account, I’ve just been diagnosed hypo with CFS/ME, and it’s great to hear that I’m not alone in these difficulties.
I can identify, even as a guy with trying to find the right moisturiser for my skin. I was too in the beginning told I was suffering from depression and you know it’s just not that because you want to do things you really do, I love cycling and couldn’t do it, you just can’t. My TSH is stabalised but here in the UK you don’t get the best of support at the best of times, it’s the diet aspect for me as I think I get Hypoglycemic reactions to food. I am a little depressed now as a result of having to deal with all this but as a secondary effect not a primary cause.
The hardest thing is explaining to other people who don’t seem to beable to tell the difference bewteen tiredness caused by a late night and tiredness caused by something wrong with your body. So it’s seen as my/our own fault, that we should get an early night and there’s no reason for the tiredness, so the ignorance is something that’s the hardest thing for me at the moment.
All the best with the podcast, I’ve subscribed!
