Oh Hai!

Hi everyone!
Sorry it’s been awhile. Remember the Care Bears? I took this photo at a friends party awhile ago. It was an 80′s party and a ton of fun. Oh, the reason it’s here? On my Blog? Just cause. O.K. you got me. I went to the doctor today for a check-up. That’s why my friend the Care Bear is hanging out on my site.

I wasn’t feeling well the past few weeks/days. You know how us Hypo’s have a Sixth sense that something isn’t right. I was feeling that way and needed to talk to someone about it. Basically, I wanted to know if I was going to feel this whole way for the rest of my life. This crappy I don’ t wanna do anything include update my blog or laundry or run a silly 5K that I signed up for? Wait HOW did laundry get in there!??

In talking with the doc today I think I might be allergic to a particular food. He suggested soda – which could be at all possible. I pee Dr. Pepper. Seriously! I am not lying. I think part of it is my being tired all the time so I need a medical line supplying Dr. Pepper constantly. But he also says that the yeast in my stomach could be growing out of control. It’s called Candida. Silly thing is that everyone has this in their system. Sounds gross doesn’t it. Like I decided to sit down and eat a bunch of raw yeast and now it is sitting in my tummy. Yuck. Overly eating sugar and surgery foods makes it get all angry and grow like nobody’s business.

I have also been not as good at taking my daily vitamins. Combine being Hypothyroid and taking medication on a timed basis doesn’t really work. I find shiny stuff to look at all the time. What? oh sorry – I got sidetracked.
Speaking of meds – my Pharmacy told me last time that they were not providing me with my beloved Armour because they were out and didn’t know when they would get some back in. When I told this to my Dr. KNOW what he did?? He gave me a new prescription AND faxed it to a compounding Pharmacy. KNOW what they told me? THEY MAKE IT THERE! No backorders, no large companies to deal with. The best part is that it will contain minimal fillers! Which has been proven to help people that get side effects from the darn things. That totally made my day. I smiled all the way home. Can’t wait to get my medications in the mail!

So I am back on the hypo wagon!
